The funeral for the late Willie Henry Lee will take place on Tuesday, April 30, 2024 at David Williams Funeral Service located at 108-20 Sutphin Blvd, Jamaica, NY 11435. There will be a viewing from 9:00am to 10:00am immediately followed by the funeral at 10:00am. He will be buried in Wading River, NY 11792

On December 11th 1945 was born to Sadie Lee and John Henry Godbold, was William Henry Lee Godbold! He was Educated in Nichols Elementary school and Palmetto High school in Mullins S. C. He worked on his Grandfather's farm in tobacco! He took a Service Station job in downtown Nichols before moving to Queens New York! He enlisted in U.S. Army! He then met his first Wife Miriam, they Married and had a Daughter Sandra! His Served in the Army for 25 years and retired! He then worked for the US Postal service a number of years and retired from there! His Marriage to Miriam lasted 38 years until she passed! He never liked being alone, then he met and Married Beverly and they were together when he took his last breath on April 14th 2024! He was preceded in death by his Parents, his Brother Lexie Godbold,and his brother William Will Jacob’s of Dillion SC , Sister Patricia Ann Godbold who also served in the US Army . He was Sergeant 1st Class, he fought in Vietnam and Saudi Arabia! He leaves to cherish his earthly bond; Three Children, Sgt Earnail Michael Davis Godbold,.Samatha Davis, Both of Mullins SC. Sandra and family of New York . His Sister Ms.Glennie 'Glenda' G. Ledsome of Mullins SC . One favorite Nice Ms.Valessa P. Godbold of Charlotte, N C. Seven Grandchildren,Greatgrands, a host of other special Nieces and Nephews and Friends!
