Our beloved Stacey Elizabeth Smith, born February 1, 1962 to Carol Smith , she was the only child. At an early age she embraced the protecting role as a mom for her three sons She was always and forevermore family over everything. She is now our Guardian Angel family, gone way too soon.
If you knew Stacey, you knew a woman with a heart of gold; She would give you her last ( or split it with you) and help figure out what to do next. One thing for sure, if she said it, she meant it.
Stacey excelled in school by graduating from South Shore High School and studying at Cuny John Jay College for Criminal Law.
Stacey worked for the Board of Education as a school bus driver. She also drove Amulette for Leon's Company on Rockaway Blvd. Stacey meet her soul mate and got married in 2004.
Stacey's outlook on life was one to be loved by all. She was always kind, loving, caring and had a beautiful smile that would light up the room despite what she was going through.
Stacey loved her family dearly. She lived for her youngest son. He was her pride and joy she wanted nothing but the best for him.
Stacey leaves behind to mourn her loss a loving family, Husband Andre Cartier, her three sons Kareem, Amir and Larry Smith as well as her two best friends Mary Williams (Candie) and Juanita Wilson ( Needie). Stacey also leaves a host of extended family members and friends.
As we mourn our beloved Stacey, know that she has been fighting many battles all her life; She would expect us to grieve and celebrate her life.
