Messiah Malik “Bless” Fisher, loving son , adoring family member and friends of many, suddenly departed this life July 26,2023. Messiah was born on July 3rd, 1991, in Jamaica Hospital, Queens, NY, beloved firstborn of Katherine M. Fisher, leaving behind his cherished younger brother, Malcom Fisher.
Messiah's educational journey commenced at P.S. 140 in Jamaica, NY, making him the second generation among three to attend the same school. Continuing his academic path, he progressed to I.S. 8 and ultimately earned his High School Diploma from Andrew Jackson High School in 2010. Known for his humor and compassion, Messiah embarked on a professional career as a Caretaker.
The life of any gathering, Messiah had an unwavering competitive spirit that shone in everything he did. Among his hobbies were playing video games, basketball, and card games like spades. Additionally, he had a particular fondness for gambling and often shared these experiences with his family at the casino. His joy stemmed from being close to loved ones, indulging in music, dancing, and entertaining those around him.
One of Messiah's most endearing traits was his big heart, capable of bringing smiles to anyone's face. He exuded support and love for his family, assuming the role of their caretaker and ensuring they felt cherished and supported. An adventurous spirit, Messiah loved to travel with is wife, Delilah Patton-Fisher, together they adventured as he broadened his horizons . His friends were like family, and he was always fair and just in his dealings. It was his cousin "Joffy" Brown who affectionately gave messiah the nickname "Bless" upon him, and truly, he was a source of blessings with his positive and nurturing nature.
