Special Info  Karl Wright, Son of Karl Stacey Gary and Rosemary Lopez was born on May 17, 1994, in Queens NY at Long Island Jewish Hospital. Karl Wright, nicknamed Stinky or as some would like to call him Stinka by his family as a baby, departed this life on January 24, 2022, at Saint John's hospital in Harlem, NY. Karl spent most of his elementary years growing up in ENY (Lincoln Ave.) where he enjoyed being around family and friends. Karl later relocated to Harlem NY; there he completed his early education at P.S 125. Karl then went on to Renaissance Leadership Academy for Junior High. Graduated from westside High School. Then he went to Queensborough Community College where he received his associate degree in accounting and political science Karl would often travel back and forth between Queens and Harlem; it was important to him that he shared his time equally between parents. Karl enjoyed basketball, loved video games and old school music, some of his favorites were Sam Cooke, Benny King and Smokey Robinson. He was a beloved son, brother, and uncle. He loved his siblings, but he ADORED all his nieces and nephews and they adored and enjoyed him even more. He was a family oriented young man with an old Soul that had a caring heart with an amazing understanding of others. He was deeply loved and admired by many! Karl leaves to cherish his memory his mother and father Rosemary Lopez and Stacey Gary, his loving Grandmother Carmen De Jesus, 6 Siblings. Ashley, Shalonda, Shameka, Tyrell, Noel and Israel, a host of nieces and nephews, many relatives, and friends. one of Karl's favorite quotes is. " Coming together is a beginning Keeping together is a progress working together is a success" Poem A son first, a brother second, then a friend but most of all a natural music lover from within Battles fought and overcame, a tear drop never seen falling off your face, love spread wide rather near or far Live, love, laugh is what you prefer. An inquisitive king is who you were Eger to learn and teach too, quick to listen your conversation is what we’ll be missing Bringer of joy, bearer of memories The snapping of your fingers, the always on beat soft tapping of your foot all while nodding your head with a crooked smile. A limb has fallen off our tree, in time we’ll heal until we meet again I’ll glance at the sunrise N sunset skies feel you through the wind when I close my eyes, in vision you standing by my side My brother, my friend life without you already feels so different Even with you gone your wisdom still teaching us life lessons Tomorrow is not promised, appreciate your blessings, give your loved ones their followers while they’re here and living No one expects the world to end tomorrow, we all wish time here wasn’t borrowed your legacy will keep living, we will continue to treasure you this for sure is a given.
