The funeral for the late Anthony Ford will take place on Wednesday, July 29, 2026, at David Williams Funeral Service located at 108-20 Sutphin Blvd, Jamaica, NY 11435. The viewing will be held from 10am-12pm, followed by the funeral service at 12pm. He will be laid to rest in Kew Gardens, New York. Please give your condolences to the Ford family.

Anthony McCoy Ford was born in Virginia on 12/1/1954 to his parents James Henry Ford & Mary M Ford.
Anthony McCoy Ford passed away peacefully on July 18 2026 at home in Raleigh North Carolina.
Anothony grew up in Brooklyn and received his education in New York. He graduated from Boys High high school & attended Staten Island college. After college he became a counselor for New York Housing Authority and worked with children & young adults.
Anthony was befriended by all. Anthony was know for his kindness, generosity, and love of music, dancing & DJing. He was known as James Brown among his family and friends. Anthony loved sports especially basketball, he was extremely happy to see the Knicks win in 5.
Anthony was a loving Son, Husband, Father, Brother, Uncle, Friend.
He is survived by his loving wife of 45 years Valerie Jan Ford, daughter Chervon Ford, Allisa Ortiz, granddaughters Skylar A Ford, Scarlett A Ford, Sisters Audrey Willams, Clementine Ford, Beverly Battle (James), Crystal Ford, and Aunt Neil Poston.
He is preceded in death by his son Travis A Ford, parents, brothers James H Ford Jr, Ernest Ford, Gregory Ford and Sister Constance (Connie) Ford.
Fond memories will be cherished by his eldest niece Brenda Barranco & eldest nephew Trevor V Silver, and a host of other caring nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
