Special Info Sheila Darlene Williams

Passed at Bushwick center in Brooklyn June 10th at the age of 67 years old.

Resided in the heart of Bedford Stuyvesant section of Brooklyn

Born to Charles Wesley and Bernice Peggy Williams and raised in Philadelphia Pennsylvania, the city of brotherly love. Which is fitting because I am constantly told by people that she is one of the most gentle, generous, genuine and caring persons they have met. Those attributes were magnified and put to great use every day in the emergency room where she worked for over 30 years as a nurse technician. Everyday she gave of herself and showed compassion, patience and empathy to those in need. Whether it be a kind word, a bit of advice, a shoulder to cry on, a scripture to encourage you, she was ready, willing and able.

I have been unbelievably fortunate to have her as a mom. She was a dedicated and loving mother to me and an incredible Nanny to her grandchild which she would have given the world for. She leaves behind a rich spiritual legacy teaching us to know, love and trust in our lord and savior Jesus Christ. She strived to live her life as an example of Christ. She loved to sing praises to the father, write sermons, and spread the gospel in any form she could. She constantly modeled the virtues of kindness, patience, and unwavering grace.

While we mourn this loss of this wonderful mother, sister, friend, confidant, teacher, and daughter of the most high God, take a bit of comfort in knowing that her faith has been made site and that she is now resting in his eternal embrace.

Sheila is survived by. Siblings: (Charles Jr, Cornell, Vernard, Daniel, Bob, Josiah, Charles III (Aka Chucky), Shirlene, Samantha, Amy, Michelle). Children: (Shawn) extended (Christopher, Sam, Calvin, Nicole, Moreen), Grandchildren (Ashanna)

Along with:
23 first generation nieces and nephews and 14 great nieces and nephews.
