The funeral for the late Rashod Bethea will take place on Sunday, July 12, 2026, at David Williams Funeral Service located at 108-20 Sutphin Blvd, Jamaica, NY 11435. The viewing will be held from 2pm-3pm, followed by the funeral service at 3pm. Please give your condolences to the Bethea family.

Rashod Kiev Bethea was born September 8th, 1983, in Jamaica Hospital, Queens New York, passed away June 11th, 2026. Rashod was the only child of Tajauna Miller and the eldest child of Thomas Bethea. Sha grew up in Jamaica Queens, where he attended Public Schools, graduated high school and formed lifelong bonds. Rashod worked at Aramarks.
Rashod was a family man. Sha was raised Family first. Sha was known for his sense of humor, putting a smile with laughter with everyone he knew. His kindness and caring ways made him loved to all who knew him.
Our son was an intelligent man. A man with wits and knowledge. His whole life was about family and loyalty. He was a funny kid, a Jokester, Shodi would make anyone smile and laugh. He would talk to everyone and help anybody if he could.
Rashod Bethea was truly loved, respected and loyal. A true VIRGO with the kindest and biggest heart. Sha touched so many lives since a child. Sha would give the shirt off his back, and he's been that way since a child.
Rashod is with his Grandma Debbie in Heaven Rashod Treasures Sha leaves behind His Mom and Dad, his sons Aiden and Laquan Bethea, his Siblings Artisea and Thomas Jr. Bethea, his Stepmother Egera, Auntie, Aries Miller, (Auntie Cuz Cuz) Pamela Peterkin, Grandmother Jessica Bethea, Cousin Jessica Nyree (Nini) Uncle Eric which was like a big brother, Godmother Dawn Yancey Scott, Aunts and Great Aunts, Uncles and Great Uncles God parents, a host of cousins too many to name, 2nd and 3rd cousins, tons of friends. Rashod had his work family as well.
