Special Info
|
Delilah Joyce Jones, lovingly known as "DJ," was born on September 15, 2024. From the very beginning, she faced life with immense strength and courage. Born with heart complications, DJ endured multiple surgeries starting at just one week old. Through it all, she remained a bright light—full of warmth, resilience, and love.
Despite her health struggles, DJ was a happy and peaceful soul. She had a calm and quiet nature, but she also had her silly, playful moments that made everyone smile. She deeply loved being around people and lit up whenever family and friends came to visit. Her sweet spirit left a lasting impression on everyone who met her.
DJ had a special bond with her parents. She especially loved being with her mom and dad, often waking up as soon as she heard their voices. She adored cuddles, loved new toys, and enjoyed being pampered—always shining brightest when she felt the love around her.
DJ is lovingly survived by her devoted parents, Dakeema and Andrew; her cherished grandmother, Deshone, affectionately known as "Ma"; her dear aunts, Dasia and Susana; and her beloved uncles, Daron (fondly known as BooBoo), Shakim, Alfredo, William, and Dakeem. She also leaves behind a plethora of other family members and loved ones who will continue to honor her memory, keeping her spirit alive in their hearts and lives.
We miss her more than words can say. Though our hearts are broken, we are grateful for every moment we had with our beautiful girl. We know she's still with us in spirit, and we hold onto the hope of seeing her again someday.
