Special Info  Patricia Ann Wilkins (1962–2023) Patricia Ann Wilkins aka Pat was born in Jamaica Queens, New York on August 16th, 1962, to parents Lillie Wilkins-Jones and Matthew Jones. She was the third child to her siblings Sharon, Rosa, Matthew Wilkins, and her late brothers Allen Jones and Jeffery Wilkins. Despite experiencing several losses and battling health concerns, her strength and resilience never wavered, carrying her through life. No matter what Patricia was faced with, she stood fearlessly - never backing down from any challenge. She was the definition of a true warrior! Patricia was compassionate, caring, and kind, leading her to an early career as a Certified Nursing Assistant. She served as a dedicated nurse and caregiver at United Cerebral Palsy (UCP) for several years before working at York College for over five years. Patricia had a memorable presence where she brought vibrant and infectious energy everywhere she went. Many spoke to her outgoing, personable, and friendly spirit that we all knew and loved. Pat had an extroverted spirit and was fiercely independent. From her bold stance to her boisterous laugh and her fiery comments, you will undoubtedly recognize Pat. Wherever Pat went, she could easily connect with others and joke with the best of them. Many were drawn in by her humor, realness, and bold energy. One of the biggest things Patricia was known for was her cooking. She loved to cook rich soul food that left many coming back for seconds and even thirds. Known for her fried chicken, greens, lasagna, and soups she infused flavor and love into everything she made. Many visited Pat personally requesting her fried chicken and any other meal she made. Those who shared the kitchen with her received cooking tips, wisdom, and tons of laughs that felt warmly wholesome. Patricia leaves behind a profound legacy and will be greatly missed by all who loved and knew her; To her five children, Teresa Wilkins, Tawanna Wilkins, Talisha Hamilton, Tamia Wilkins, and Tymeek Wilkins; four grandchildren Taice Thomas, Brianna King, Vladimir Ulyesse, Anthony Green; Nephew Michael Wilkins II and Niece Shanee Alvarez, Navisha Williams and, Naija Williams; Grand nephews, Michael Wilkins III and David Wilkins; Aunt Rose Mungen; Cousins, Anthony Mungen and Tasha Mungen, as well as other family and friends.
