Sunrise: August 14th 1989. — Sunset: August 10th 2014.

Jahmal Jerome best known as J.J. was born on August 14th, 1989. He was born to Dana Jerome where he was the second child of four siblings two brothers Shahmal and Iziah Jerome and his sister Faith Brown. After the death of his Grandmother who played a major role in life. Jahmal began to be cared for and became a part of the family of Nita and Carl White. J.J. lived with Mr. and Ms. White along with their children Karima, Kenneth, Jerry, Jasmine, Shakeya, Michael, Nathaniel, Teniesha, Nakia and his nephew Kenneth and nieces Emanii, Yanni and LiliJJ developed deep and special bond with his Mom, Dad and Siblings. JJ was a loving son, brother and uncle and always did what he could for his family. JJ lived with his parents until he reached 21 years old, he then got his own apartment. That did not keep him from coming over everyday to see his family. JJ was well loved by his family and friends in the neighborhood. JJ met his girlfriend Jennifer at the age of 17 years old and they remained together until the end. JJ was able to get his driver license when he turned 21 years old and everyone was proud of him. Every other day he would ask, “Pops, let me borrow the car.” JJ worked with his father Carl, doing driving jobs for the Board of Education and he was a hard worker. He later got a Job with the Parks Department, and he worked very hard and faithful.


THE WHOLE FAMILY IS DEVASTATED BY OUR SUDDEN LOST AND WE ASK THAT YOU KEEP US IN YOUR PRAYERS AND KEEP IN REMEMBRANCE OUR BOY, JJ.



The funeral service for the late Mr. Jahmal J. Jerome will be held on Thursday, August 14th at David Williams Funeral Service (108-20 Sutphin Blvd. Jamaica, NY 11435). There will be a viewing held from 5 to 7 pm with the service beginning at 7pm.
